Naif Souk is one of those places where I never stop looking. The architecture, the improvised shopfronts, the passing silhouettes, the constant movement… everything feels alive. Rather than painting the market as it is, I wanted to capture the impression it leaves behind.
The buildings become fragments of color, the perspective stretches, and the figures almost disappear into the light. Somewhere between memory and abstraction, this painting is less about a place than about the feeling of walking through it.
