C.R.E.A.M — short for “Cash Rules Everything Around Me” — takes its title from the iconic Wu-Tang Clan track, but Hakim Idriss translates the phrase into an entirely different visual language.
The artwork portrays three figures in motion, wrapped in traditional garments, walking under the sun of the Arabian Peninsula. The palette of beige, turquoise, and electric yellow evokes both the desert’s warmth and the modern pulse of the region.
Painted with a knife and marked by powerful gestures, the piece speaks about movement, ambition, and identity — themes central to Idriss’s contemporary vision.
Each print is signed by the artist and faithfully reproduces the texture and energy of the original painting, one of the key works of his Legacy Beats exhibition at Park Hyatt Dubai.
