At the Park was painted during Hakim Idriss’s artist residency at the Park Hyatt Dubai. The piece captures the calm elegance of the hotel’s unique architecture — a blend of Mediterranean lightness and Middle Eastern heritage — seen through the artist’s distinctive technique.
Using his characteristic knife work and a limited palette of serene blues and whites, Idriss translates the peaceful reflections of the lagoon and the geometry of the buildings into a contemporary, poetic vision. The result is a scene that feels both architectural and emotional, suspended between precision and spontaneity.
